ABOUT PALINDROME INTERACTIVE

Short Version:

Palindrome Interactive is a strategy game development company based in Skövde, Sweden. The studio consists of close to 20 passionate developers that all share a love of strategy games. The goal is to become a world leader within the strategy games genre and to create some of the most enjoyable tactical and strategic game experiences possible. 

The studio released its first title “Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars” together with strategy game publisher Kalypso in September 2020.
Palindrome Interactive was fully acquired by Amplifier Game Invest & Embracer Group in August 2020.

Long Version:

Palindrome Interactive was born out of the idea of making more with less. The idea of a game development studio that could punch above its weight and deliver world class content while still remaining small, independent, creatively free, and able to pursue the projects we always dreamed of working on.

We strive to be one of the world’s top strategy game developers, by creating deep and engaging game experiences of the highest quality, crafted by a skilled and passionate team.

The studio was co-founded by five alumni from the University of Skövde’s game development educations in 2015, with the explicit ambition to create some of the world’s best turn-based strategy games. By that point the team that had already worked together on multiple projects.

Palindrome joined up with Goodbye Kansas (now Amplifier Game Invest) in August 2016. It was fully acquired by Embracer Group in August 2020. The studio released its first title “Immortal Realms: Vampire wars” together with industry veteran and strategy game publisher Kalypso in September 2020.

The team is now hard at work on the Legend of the Five Rings, pouring all of its creative energy into doing what it loves to do – creating the games that it always dreamt of making!
